Funeral services for Ronnie Duane Billheimer, 75, of Norfolkwill be 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 24, 2017at First United Methodist Church, Wayne. Burial will be in GreenwoodCemetery, Wayne. Visitation will be Sundayfrom 4-6 p.m. at Home for Funerals, Norfolk, Nebraska.
Ronnie died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Norfolk Veterans Home. Ronnie was born July 21, 1941 to Mabel Billheimer at Walthill, NE.
Ronnie entered the United States Navy on July 17, 1959 and received his honorable discharge June 18, 1962. Ronnie married Kathryn Ann (Jorgensen) Hochstein on May 26, 1961, to this union 6 children were born. After Ronnie’s discharge, he drove truck for 50+ years, he worked for Terra Chemical, Wayne, NE, did farming for Don Harmer, Don Rohde and Les Sherman.
On December 18, 1982, he married Natalee (Sievers) Landanger, he became a stepfather to her 3 children and helped raise them.
Ronnie had many hobbies, including, fishing, hunting, Husker Football, camping, boating, gardening and carpentry work. He enjoyed driving his semi’s but most of all he enjoyed being around family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Natalee of Norfolk, 5 sons, Monte (Diana) Billheimer of Haswell, CO, Darin (Ann) Billheimer of Meridian, MS, Chad (Angie) Billheimer of Wayne, NE, JJ (Corine) Landanger of Denton, NE, Dustin (Shauna) Landanger of Carroll, NE, four daughters, Lynell Thies of Wayne, NE, Andrea Hankins of Wayne, NE, Kami (Wood) Pilger of Wisner, NE, and Missy (Jim) Howell of Omaha, NE, 32 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law’s, Jack (Lori) Sievers, of Randolph, sister-in-law’s, Jacque (Darrell) Zweygardt, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law Leroy Sievers.
Ronnie was a very loving, caring and humorous spitfire and will be greatly missed by all.
