WAYNE – In the month of April State Nebraska Bank & Trust employees competed in their annual ‘Bake-Off’.
According to a release, funds were donated to the local Wayne food pantry.
A total of 12 SNB bank employees prepared amazing treats, bringing in desserts daily so employees could sample and vote for their favorites.
Bakers brought in Cinnamon Bundt Cake, Raspberry Cream Pie, Blueberry Lemon Cake and more delicious treats.
Kirby Hall’s Lemon Lush Dessert was the winner, taking the apron for Best Baker from Conni Davis, last year’s recipient.
Overall, SNB employees raised $310 for the Wayne Food Pantry through the 2024 ‘Bake-Off’ competition.
