WAKEFIELD – A handful of northeast Nebraska high school volleyball programs will compete in a two-day tournament over the next three days.
The 2021 Wakefield Volleyball Invitational will be held on both Thursday, September 9 and Saturday, September 11.
Thursday’s schedule will start at 5 p.m. with Pool A games in the Main gym featuring Wakefield vs. Lutheran High Northeast; Lutheran High Northeast vs. Ponca; Ponca vs. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge and Wakefield vs. LCC while Pool B matches will be held in the Auxiliary gym of Hartington Cedar Catholic vs. Cedar Bluffs; Cedar Bluffs vs. BRLD; BRLD vs. Pierce and HCC vs. Pierce.
Moving into Saturday the final pool play games will be played featuring Wakefield vs. Ponca and BRLD vs. HCC at 8:30 a.m. as well as LHNE vs. LCC and Cedar Bluffs vs. Pierce at 9:30 a.m.

Championship bracket games will be held in the Main gym and consolation bracket play in the Auxiliary gym both starting at 11 a.m.
