WAYNE, NE – Boomerfest 2023 marked another year at the Wayne City Auditorium Thursday with vendor exhibits, live music, treats and fun for everyone. And as always, Big Red Country was on hand, broadcasting live from before the event opened at Noon until 2pm.
Both Program Director, Dan Baddorf and announcer Luke Stara were on hand to bring the festivities to everyone on the radio and streamed on the Wayne Radio App and on waynedailynews.com. That included broadcasting Thursday’s Noon news live.
The radio station gave away popcorn, pens and THREE radios. Congratulations to the winners: Phyllis Rahn, Lee Wrede, and Doris Meyer.
