WAKEFIELD – All are invited to a community meeting for the possibility of a co-op for three northeast Nebraska high school football teams.
From the Wakefield Community School main gymnasium, a sports co-op meeting will be held this evening at 7 p.m. The high school is located at 802 Highland St.
This meeting is to share information and gather community input by listening to questions, comments and concerns on the possibility of cooping sports with Allen and Emerson-Hubbard high schools. Along with football, the coop would be for other sports that will be discussed tonight.
The community of Wakefield is encouraged to attend this meeting.
