Wisner’s Cowtown Classic To Be Held August 24th

WISNER – Get those classic cars ready and be prepare yourself for a good time at Wisner’s Cowtown Classic happening Saturday. The Cowtown Classic will feature a silent auction, live music, a BBQ contest, and a show and shine car show along with a beer garden and food.

Check-in for the show and shine car show will be from 9 a.m. till noon with the show happening noon to 4 p.m. Awards will be presented to the Best of Show and there will be other club choice awards. For more information contact Karry Neisius at 402-841-3078 or John Sassaman at 402-372-8523.

The BBQ cook off will feature three different categories. Beef, pork, and open class. The open class category can include anything that is not beef or pork. Cost is $20 per entry and there will be cash prizes and a trophy to the winning entry. Check in is at 8 a.m. with judging at 4 p.m. For more information contact Scott James at 402-427-3846.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot will be the live entertainment starting at 4 p.m.
