W.W. Galore Hosted Chamber Coffee Friday, July 24

WAYNE – W.W. Galore was able to host the third in-person Chamber Coffee event since the pandemic quarantine. W.W. Galore is a consignment store located on 3rd and Main Streets in downtown Wayne. They rent out booths to local craftsmen and craftswomen. The store gives the artists an outlet to sell their goods.

Jamie Anderson is the owner and founder of W.W. Galore. She elaborated on the convenience her store offers.

“I take care of the advertising, and the selling, and the cleaning, and the staffing, and everything else. All they (the artists) have to worry about is stocking their booth.”

Anderson started this business with a specific goal in mind. She explained that objective with respect to the community.

“To support local families. Local, as in surrounding communities, not just Wayne, but surrounding communities. Everything in this store supports families. Families like you and me,” Anderson assured.

She suggested that almost anything found at a craft show can be found in her store. The name of the store references the song Part Of Your World in The Little Mermaid movie. The line in the song says, “I’ve got Whozits and Whatzits Galore.” Anderson mentioned that her store carries wood signs, t-shirts, dish towels, coffee, jewelry, candles, and so much more.

Anderson’s store opened in Wayne on May 31, after her move from Wakefield. She talked about how business went these last two months and she touched on the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I was fortunate that I wasn’t open during the worst part of it (quarantine) where everything else was closed. I opened kind of at a time where people were a little bit ready to get out,” Anderson added.

At the start, business was buzzing at W.W. Galore, according to Anderson. She commented that it’s been quieter after the first few weeks, but added that business has been steady. Also, sanitation measures are in place to protect workers and customers.

W.W. Galore has 65 talented vendors lined up at the moment! She can probably make room for more vendors. If you want to profit off your craft, give Jamie Anderson a call at 402-660-3607.

W.W. Galore is open Tuesdays – Fridays, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and Sundays noon until 4 p.m. Upon arrival, there are free donuts and coffee samples sitting by the front door. For more information about W.W. Galore, visit their Facebook page.

Main Street Garage will welcome Chamber Coffee next Friday, July 31.
