Taste Of Victory Tailgate To Raise Funds For Foundation Friday, Business After Hours Scheduled For September 23

WAYNE – Those who attend this weekend’s Wayne High football game will also be able to assist the Wayne Community Schools Foundation during a yearly fundraiser.

According to a release from Wayne Area Economic Development, the Eighth annual Taste of Victory Tailgate will take place on Friday, September 16.

The event will last from 5:45 p.m. until kickoff at 7 p.m. The Blue Devils are hosting Raymond Central during their homecoming game.

WAED and the Wayne Community Schools Foundation are the event organizers will provide the food.

Also, the WAED Special Events Committee is hosting a Business After Hours on Friday, September 23 at The Coop located next to Johnnie Byrd Brewing Company from 5 – 7 p.m. This will be a grand opening of their new space.

The committee is looking for four sponsors for this event. Sponsorship is $100 and includes four tickets to the event, recognition in marketing materials and an opportunity to speak at the event. During the raffle, the WAED Special Events Committee is also seeking monetary donations to purchase one big prize that will be raffled off that night. Donors will be recognized according to their contribution. Deadline to participate is Friday, September 16.
