Rocks Roll to 5th State Title with OT Victory Over Neumann
The Scotus girls won the Class C1 State Championship on Saturday, defeating Bishop Neumann 40-37.

LINCOLN – The Shamrocks’ have completed their Cinderella story.

Scotus claimed the program’s fifth state title with a dramatic, come-from-behind, overtime win against Bishop Neumann in the Class C1 Championship at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Saturday morning.

The Shamrocks trialed by three late in the game but junior Bailey Lehr rose to occasion by knocking down a three-pointer with under 20 seconds to play to send the game into overtime.

In the extra period Scotus would hold off the Cavaliers to grab the 40-37 victory, earning the program’s fifth state title in school history.
