WAYNE – Due to low temperatures, the Wayne High baseball game scheduled for Monday, March 18 has been postponed.
According to a release from Wayne High Athletic Director, Dave Wragge with the reel feel temperatures in the low 30s, the game will not be played today against Arlington.
The Blue Devils are 0-1 on the season following a 2-0 home loss last Friday to Adams Central.
The Arlington game will now follow Tuesday’s regularly scheduled Fort Calhoun game for the Wayne baseball team now being varsity only. The Wayne vs. Fort Calhoun game will start at 3:30 p.m. followed by Wayne vs. Arlington around 6 p.m.

Later this week, the Wayne High baseball team will travel to Pender on Thursday, March 21 at 4 p.m. and host a rescheduled home varsity game against Wahoo on Friday, March 22 at 4:30 p.m. followed by a JV outing against Norfolk around 6:30 p.m.
