WAYNE – Holiday spirit filled the main floor of a local main street bank during Friday morning Chamber Coffee.
From State Nebraska Bank & Trust located at 122 Main Street in Wayne, community members enjoyed the final pre-Christmas Chamber event.
Matt Ley has been the CEO of State Nebraska Bank since 2010 and joined as the fifth generation in his family to run SNB. Ley said next year looks to be very exciting.
“We’re at least at this point planning on rebuilding our drive-through location,” said Ley. “Assuming the farmers have a decent enough year. So, next year is going to be a lot more exciting with changes.”
The downtown drive-in branch is located at West 10th & Main Street. Drive-up hours are Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Contact both the main branch and drive-in branch at 402-375-1130. Visit www.statenebank.com for more information.
The final two winners for chamber bucks through the Holiday Stamp Card Promotion were drawn for along with the winner of SNB’s Holiday Wagon filled with $200 worth of goodies from businesses in Wayne.
“We used to kind of do a service that did a huge stocking every year,” Ley added. “And we’re like ‘you know what let’s fill it with local companies’. So, we just took that money and got a bunch of local stuff and that’s kind of fun to give some worthy family as well.”
State Nebraska Bank & Trust will be closed Christmas and New Year’s Day. SNB will close around 1 p.m. Christmas Eve but work all New Year’s Eve.
