LAUREL/WAYNE – District competition continues for high school football teams across the state as a pair of northeast Nebraska schools are set for week six of the season.
As homecoming week comes to an end in Laurel on Friday, the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears will host Madison on Big Red Country while Wayne High is back at home entertaining Logan View/Scribner-Snyder on The City.

Last season, the Bears won at Madison (56-18).
Then, on The City ‘KCTY’ 98.9/1590 catch Wayne High football hosting Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Friday night. Wayne High also saw their three-game winning streak end last week now at 3-2 while the Raiders will be looking for their first win of the season at 0-5.
