Apollo 11: Man’s First Steps On The Moon Planetarium Shows To Be Held Saturday

WAYNE – The Fred G. Dale Planetarium will host a special feature in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. “Apollo 11: Man’s First Steps on the Moon” showings will be presented at 1, 2, 7, and 8 p.m. throughout Saturday at the Fred G. Dale Planetarium on the campus of Wayne State College.

Dr. Todd Young is a Professor of Physics and Astronomy at WSC and also serves as the Director of the Fred G. Dale Planetarium. Dr. Young will present an interactive talk called “One Small Step: Apollo 11 and the Future of Space Exploration at 3 and 4 p.m. The shows are for all ages.
