Celebration of Life Gathering for Darrell Allvin, age 64, of Wayne, will be held at Bressler Park in Wayne on Friday from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. He passed away on Sunday at Wayne Countryview Estates. Please direct memorials to Darrell’s Family. Inquires may be made to Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne.
Darrell Dean “The Big D”, Allvin was born April 12, 1956, in Wayne to Carl and Leona (Modlin) Allvin. He graduated from Wayne High School. Over the years, Darrell thoroughly enjoyed being a truck driver for various businesses including: Penro Construction, Waldbaums, Mark’s Machinery, and Jerry’s Service.
Darrell is survived by his children, Nicole (Andrew) Smolek of Crofton and Travis Allvin of Crofton; grandchildren, Aubrinee and Brayden Smolek of Crofton; sister, Dori (Jerry) Bart of Carroll; nieces; nephews; and many other family members.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dianne Treacle; and one nephew.
