Daniel Howard Gould, age 68 of Laurel, Nebraska died on Wednesday, June 09, 2021 at Hillcrest Care Center in Laurel, Nebraska due to cancer complications.
Memorial services are being planned for Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Laurel with the Rev. Patrick Broz officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial of his cremated remains will be at the Laurel Cemetery, Laurel, NE. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home in Laurel, NE.
Daniel was born on August 2, 1952 in Sioux City, Iowa to Howard E. and Helen Pearle (Thompson) Gould. He grew up in the Laurel area and graduated from Laurel High School in 1970. After high school he began farming with his dad and his two brothers Arlin and Keith. Daniel was still active on the farm until his health changed. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and the great outdoors. Daniel was a member of the Logan Center United Methodist Church in Laurel.
He is survived by his two brothers Arlin (Toni) Gould of Laurel, Keith Gould of Laurel; five nieces and nephews Brian (Amy) Gould of Laurel, Brett Gould of Laurel, Kacie (Chase) Maier of Creighton, Cheyenne Gould of Sioux City, IA, Dawson Gould of Laurel; six great nieces and nephews.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Helen Gould; sister-in-law Noreen Gould.
