WAYNE – As a few Bronco and Pony youth baseball games remain on the schedule this weekend, Didget teams will open their postseason league tournament Sunday.
The Wayne Blue Didgets (2-8) will visit Dodge-Howells at 7 p.m. in Dodge Sunday while the Wayne White Didgets (3-7) will host the West Point Twins at 6 p.m. also Sunday.
The Wayne Blue Didgets lost to Dodge-Howells 10-1 on June 22 while the Wayne White Didgets defeated the West Point Twins 7-0 on June 25.
The winner of the Wayne White vs. Twins game will face the West Point Patriots on June 21 while the loser would play the loser of either Wayne Blue or Dodge-Howells. The winner of the Wayne Blue vs. Dodge-Howells game will play Pender on June 21 and again the loser would play either the Wayne White Didgets or the Twins also on June 21.
The Bronco and Pony brackets should come out late Sunday evening.
