ST. JOSEPH, MO – A pair of teams two matches into their young season will take to the soccer pitch Friday evening.
This will mark the third and final non-conference contest for the Wayne State College women’s soccer team when they visit Missouri Western State University on Friday, September 13 at 6 p.m.
WSC is 0-1-1 following an early overtime defeat to Harding and draw with the host Nebraska-Kearney this past weekend. Their opponent, Missouri Western dropped two home matches by the score of 2-0 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Lindenwood University and Rockhurst University on September 6 & 8.
The NSIC season will begin on the road for Wayne State as they’ll visit Sioux Falls on Friday, September 20 and Southwest Minnesota State on Sunday, September 22. WSC will then host a pair of North Dakota schools of Minot State on Friday, September 27 at 3 p.m. and University of Mary on Sunday, September 29 at 1 p.m. for their first home contests of the season.
