WSC Volleyball Competes In Arizona

WAYNE – After missing out with their fall season, the Wayne State College volleyball team has put together a busy March schedule that began with a February scrimmage at Augustana before recently making a spring trip to Arizona this week.

According to a release from the Wayne State Athletics office, WSC began their spring trip in Arizona Monday with a 25-21, 25-22 and 27-25 scrimmage indoor victory over Benedictine Mesa.

The Wildcat volleyball team will next hit the beach Tuesday for a pair of matches to open the 2021 beach volleyball season. The team is scheduled to be in Mesa and Glendale, Arizona this week while also competing in the AVCA Small College Beach Championships in Florida April 16 – 18.
