WAYNE – Just like the Wildcat Outdoor Classic, the Wayne State College baseball team will be moving their games from a Saturday/Sunday double header to now Thursday and Friday, March 22-23.

But, the ‘Cats will have to wait possibly another day before playing at the Pete Chapman Baseball Complex. Due to lingering wet field conditions in Wayne, Thursday’s double header with Minnesota Duluth will now be played at Riverside Park in Yankton, South Dakota at 10:30 a.m./12:30 p.m.

The ‘Cats enter their second four-game conference series at 6-8 (4-0 NSIC) and will host the 4-8 Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs who have yet to play a league game.

Friday’s twin bill is still scheduled for Noon/2 p.m. at the Pete Chapman Baseball Complex in Wayne, pending weather.

Wayne State College won four league games over University of Mary last weekend after being moved to Millard North High School in Omaha.

WSC will next be on the road during a four-game series to close out the month of March. The ‘Cats will visit Minot State on Friday, March 30 and Saturday, March 31 at Noon and 2 p.m. both days.
