WINSIDE – After having a road triangular turn into a single match last week, the Winside volleyball program went back to work early in the week with a home contest.
From Winside Public Schools, the Wildcats welcomed in Pender Monday evening.
Pender won the match in four sets (25-18, 25-19, 22-25, 26-24). The Pendragons improved to 7-8 while Winside fell to 8-7.
The next match with Winnebago that was scheduled for Thursday, October 1 but has since been canceled. Winside will be off until this Saturday’s road triangular at Bloomfield with Randolph.
