SANTEE – Another northeast Nebraska triangular which turned into a single match saw the Winside Wildcats hit to the road Thursday evening.
From Santee Community Schools, Winside visited Santee as the two were scheduled to also compete with Walthill.
During the lone match, Winside swept the host Santee (25-10, 25-12, 25-6). Winside is now 8-6 on the season while Santee fell to 2-4.
Kati Topp paced Winside at the net with nine kills, five digs, four service aces and two solo blocks while Jaden Rastede added six kills and three solo blocks. Brooklyn Behmer finished with 13 set assists, five service aces, three digs and three kills as McKenna Russel came away with six set assists and four digs.
The Winside volleyball team will next host Pender on Monday, September 28.
