WAYNE – With one more North Division opponent on the schedule in November, the Wayne State college football team will take part in another cross division outing this weekend.
From Bob Cunningham Field on the campus of Wayne State College, WSC will welcome in Concordia-St. Paul at 6 p.m. for a Family Day game on Saturday, September 24.
The ‘Cats are off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2012 following last week’s 49-10 win at Minot State while the visiting Golden Bears bring a 0-3 mark to Wayne following a 44-23 setback at home last week to Sioux Falls.
Concordia-St. Paul holds a slim 11-10 edge in the all-time series against WSC and has won the last two matchups against the Wildcats, including a 28-21 victory in Wayne in 2019 in the last matchup between the two clubs.
