WAYNE – Madera High School standout, Chris Chapa, has chosen to continue his football career at Wayne State College. Chapa graduated from Madera High School in California back in 2016. After high school he attended Fresno City College for a season before transferring over to Merced College where he was third on the team in tackles. Chapa switched back to Fresno City College to finish out his junior college career.
Chapa will be a linebacker for the Cats that will specialize in the nickel package. He will be making the transition from California to the Midwest this week as athletes start to report for fall sports.
