WAYNE/BEMIDJI, MN – Both the Wayne State College softball and baseball teams will see their mid-week NSIC games moved up one day due to predicted rain.
According to a release from the Wayne State Athletics office, the Wildcat softball team will now host Sioux Falls at noon and 2 p.m. today from the Pete Chapman Softball Complex.
The Wildcats will look to snap a seven-game losing streak as they sit 3-15 (0-6 NSIC). USF enters 9-11 (3-3 NSIC).
The Wayne State College softball team is also scheduled to host Minnesota State-Mankato and Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday and Sunday, April 10 – 11 at noon and 2 p.m. each day.
Also, with the WSC baseball team reported all negative tests yesterday as the team departed for Bemidji, Minnesota a day early to visit Bemidji State University this afternoon due to the future forecast.
Wayne State College has been off since Tuesday, March 30 and have dropped three straight to sit 5-9 (4-6 NSIC). Game times are scheduled for 3/5 p.m. today in Bemidji, Minnesota as the Beavers are 2-16 (1-12 NSIC).
The Wildcat baseball team is also scheduled to visit Minnesota Duluth in a three-game series on Saturday and Sunday, April 10 – 11.
