WAYNE – The Wayne State College softball and baseball teams had their weekend postponed games cancelled for Monday due to snow and field conditions.
The 11-22 overall (5-9 NSIC) Wildcat softball team was scheduled to host MSU Moorhead Monday after getting their double header with Northern State cancelled over the weekend.
WSC will next visit (16-16/3-9 NSIC) Upper Iowa on Tuesday, April 17 at 2/4 p.m. before coming back home to host (5-27/1-9 NSIC) Minnesota Crookston on Saturday, April 21 and (13-17/2-6 NSIC) Bemidji State on Sunday, April 22.
The 11-17 (9-9 NSIC) Wildcat baseball team had their four-game series with Northern State changed to a double header but was then cancelled for today.
The ‘Cats will next face (9-14/7-10 NSIC) Upper Iowa University. The game has been moved up one day til Tuesday, April 17 at Millard North in Omaha with first pitch of the double header at 6 p.m. WSC will also play at (4-21/2-9 NSIC) Bemidji State University on Saturday and Sunday, April 21-22.
