Wildcat Football Heads East To Begin Two-Game Road Stretch

FAYETTE, IA – Week 10 of the NSIC football schedule will mark the second-to-last game of the season for Wayne State College as they hit the road for two straight weeks.

Following at 55-2 home loss to #1 Minnesota State-Mankato, the Wayne State College football team is now 2-7 on the season (1-4 South).

The ‘Cats will play in their earliest kickoff of the season when they visit Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa on Saturday, November 3 at 12:05 p.m.

The Peacocks are coming off a road loss at Sioux Falls (34-7) and sit 3-6 overall and 1-4 also in the NSIC South.

Both teams are knotted up at six wins a piece in the 12 all-time meetings with eight games being decided by six points or less. Last year, WSC defeated the Peacocks in Wayne (28-10) while Upper Iowa won at home (35-30) in 2016.

Wayne State College will end their season at Sioux Falls next Saturday, November 10 at 1 p.m.

Concordia-St. Paul (4-5) at Southwest Minnesota State (4-5) at 1 p.m.

Minnesota Crookston (1-8) at Northern State (3-6) at 1 p.m.

Winona State (6-3) at Augustana (6-3) at 1 p.m.

St. Cloud State (6-3) at Minot State (1-8) at 1 p.m.

University of Mary (0-9 at #5 Minnesota Duluth (9-0) at 1:05 p.m.
