Wildcat Football Camps Open For All Ages During Final Week Of June

WAYNE – Youth are invited to join the Wayne State College football program during two camps in late June.

The Young Cats Individual Camp will be held on Friday, June 29 and the Top Cats Individual Camp set for Saturday, June 30.

All camps will be held at Bob Cunningham Field on the campus of Wayne State College.

The annual eight-man Team Camp is approaching from Sunday, June 24 – Tuesday, June 26 as registration has ended for this camp. The 8-Man Team Camp is a full padded, high-and-hard team camp that runs for three days with team practices and competitions.

The Young Cats Individual Camp on Friday, June 29 starts with registration from 11:30 a.m. – Noon as the camp will last from Noon until 5 p.m. Students in grade second through eighth will be taught skill instruction and take part in competition for all athletes with sandwiches and drinks provided at 5 p.m. Cost is $25 per camper as you can pre-register by Midnight of Tuesday, June 26.

The Top Cats Individual Camp is for high school students on Saturday, June 30 with registration from 8 – 9 a.m. and the camp running until 3 p.m. The morning session from 9 a.m. until Noon includes combine testing and skill instruction. Following a lunch break at Noon, the afternoon session from 1-3 p.m. features skill instruction and competitions. Cost is $65 per camper as pre-registration is set by Midnight on Wednesday, June 27.
