Wildcat Football Begins Divisional Play Saturday

WINONA, MN – Over the next six weeks, NSIC South Division play will take over the schedule for Wayne State College football.

With a busy month of September in the books for WSC, the Wildcats will turn their attention to divisional play before concluding the year with their final cross division opponent on November 12 (vs. MSU Moorhead).

From Altra Federal Credit Union Stadium in Winona, Minnesota, WSC will visit Winona State University Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.

The Wildcats are off to a 4-0 start for the first time since the 1993 season following a 48-21 home victory over Concordia-St. Paul last weekend. Winona State is 3-1 after posting a 40-7 home win over MSU Moorhead this past Saturday.

Winona State holds a 20-5 lead in the all-time series vs. Wayne State College. WSC snapped a five-game losing streak against the Warriors with a 38-21 win in Wayne last season.

MSU Moorhead at Minnesota Duluth at noon

Minnesota State-Mankato at Concordia-St. Paul at noon *Cross Division

Sioux Falls at #11 Augustana at 1 p.m.

Bemidji State at Minot State at 1 p.m.

Northern State at University of Mary at 2 p.m.

Upper Iowa at Southwest Minnesota State at 5 p.m.
