Wildcat Baseball Doubleheader Ruled No-Contest At Northern State

ABERDEEN, SD – A series of 10 consecutive road games for the Wayne State College baseball team was scheduled to begin at Northern State on Tuesday.

From Aberdeen, South Dakota, WSC visited Northern State University on Tuesday, one day earlier due to incoming weather on Wednesday.

The rain arrived early in Aberdeen and canceled the NSIC baseball doubleheader between the two teams.

Northern State was leading game one, 7-3 in the bottom of the fourth when play was halted. The games are ruled a no-contest.

The Wayne State College baseball remains 13-13 overall (7-6 NSIC) and is back on the road at Minnesota Crookston on Saturday, April 9 at 1:30/3:30 p.m. before closing out the weekend on Sunday, April 10 at noon.
