WAYNE – With only a handful games remaining on the regular season schedule, the Wayne High softball team will play their final home game Thursday.
From the Wayne Softball Complex, WHS (19-0) will host the 14-5 NEN Vipers of Wisner-Pilger, Pender, Bancroft Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur at 6:30 p.m. pending weather.
Wayne High recently won 9-0 at Columbus High on September 13. NEN previously won all three games in the Wilber-Clatonia Invite on September 15 and had a road game at Schuyler on Tuesday get postponed.
WHS will take part in the Adams Central Tournament this Saturday, play road two games next week, compete in the Mid State Conference Tourney on September 29 and end the regular season on October 2.
