UPDATED: WHS Baseball Has Monday Game Postponed

WAYNE – The Wayne High baseball team was scheduled to play back-to-back home games today and tomorrow, but due to weather Monday’s game has been postponed.

WHS enters the week at 2-3 on a three-game losing streak after dropping an 11-1 home game against Crete last Thursday. The Blue Devils have been outscored 19-1 in their three losses.

Scheduled to come to town today was  the co-op team of Guardian Angles Central Catholic/Scribner-Snyder/West Point-Beemer who are 0-3 and have been off since March 23.

The Tuesday, April 3 game with 0-4 South Sioux City is being addressed whether to be played or postponed this afternoon.

**The Wayne High Blue Devil Track Invitational for Tuesday, April 3 has been postponed due to the forecast. A makeup date has yet to be set.

Wayne High took part in five March games; the remainder of the 11-game schedule and Seward Tournament will be played in April.
