WCS Students Participating In Athletics Must Complete Physical Examination, Students Entering Seventh Grade

WAYNE – Officials with Wayne Community Schools are reminding parents and guardians about physical examinations.

According to a release, a physical examination is required prior to entrance into the seventh grade. A copy of all current immunizations must be included. This physical can also be used for athletic participation.

All students participating in athletics including cheer or dance must have a physical examination prior to the start of any sport. A parent permission form, emergency medical form and concussion form must also be filled out. All forms must be turned into Lori in the office prior to the first day of practice.

Also, for those entering seventh through 12th grade, schedules may be picked up on Monday August 8; Tuesday, August 9 and Wednesday, August 10 from 8:00 a.m. to noon or between 1 – 4 p.m.
