WAYNE – Player registration will continue on Thursday, November 4 to sign-up for the 2021-22 WBDA season.

According to a release from the Wayne Basketball Development Association (WBDA), girls and boys in grades 4th – 8th can participate as the group is looking forward to an exciting basketball season.

If you missed out on the November 1 – 2 registration dates, plan on visiting the Wayne Community Activity Center Thursday between 4 – 6 p.m. as individuals can join the tournament teams for basketball this winter.  The Activity Center is located at 901 West 7th Street.

Cost is $80 per player or a $20 monthly plan along with a $50 tournament volunteer deposit. A shooting shirt will be included as scholarships are also available.

WBDA is intended to teach the game of basketball with a high level of intensity. This program offers more practice, greater intensity and faster paced games by entering area tournaments. The emphasis of WBDA is to heighten the skills of players in preparation for their later playing years. Though the amount of playing time is not predetermined, all players get the opportunity to play based on skill level and team need.

You can also fill out some paperwork ahead of time here.
