WAYNE/PIERCE – As the Wayne Youth Tournament approaches this weekend, Tri County League games began the week Monday evening.
From the Summer Sports Complex, the Wayne Didgets welcomed in the West Point Patriots while the Wayne White Broncos hosted North Bend Black as the Blues were in Pierce featuring Wayne Didgets at Pierce White and Wayne Broncos taking on Stanton Orange in Pierce.
The Wayne White Didgets won 8-7 over the West Point Patriots notching their third straight league win to now sit 4-4 on the season.
In the win, Daniel Jiminez doubled, drove in two runs and scored twice; Benjamin Patefield singled, doubled and scored while Bradley Hanson doubled and drove in a run. Isaiah Zarate and Maxon Judd both singled, drove in a run and scored; Brayden McManigal accounted for a RBI and run scored as Mason Nelson and Hudson Kramer both scored.
Combining for the victory were Dreu Jensen (68 pitches) who worked four innings allowing two runs (one earned) off two hits while striking out six batters and walking four as Kramer (67) pitched two innings allowing five earned runs off four hits while striking out four batters and walking seven.

The Wayne White Broncos secured a 13-12 victory over North Bend Black winning back-to-back to now sit 5-3 on the season.
During the victory, Will Patefield doubled, drove in three runs and scored while Blake Smith doubled, drove in two runs and scored three times. Noah Magnuson singled, drove in two runs and scored twice; Trecyn Ocampo singled, drove in two runs and scored; Maddox Heithold and Carson Heiser both singled and scored; Tate Holz accounted for a RBI and run scored as single runs came from Evan Greeve and Miles Tiedtke.
Combining for the victory were Smith (34 pitches) worked an inning allowing two runs off one hit while striking out three batters and walking one as Patefield (102) pitched five innings allowing 10 runs (two earned) off six hits while striking out 12 batters and walking two.

The Wayne Blue Didgets picked up a 7-3 win at Pierce White to snap a two-game losing streak and now sit 5-3 on the season.
During the win, Mason Rhods recorded a homerun and two total RBI; Zaven Jurgensen tripled as Harley Poland singled twice, drove in two runs and scored. Sy Chase singled and scored; Brayden Wehrer accounted for a RBI and run scored; Merrick Miller scored twice as Keaton Hall scored.
Blake Heithold (92 pitches) picked up the win in five innings allowing three runs (two earned) off two hits while striking out 12 batters and walking four. Wehrer (12) worked the final inning not allowing a run or hit and striking out three batters.

The Wayne Blue Broncos played in Pierce and won 8-6 over Stanton Orange to win their third league game in the past four outings improving to 5-2 overall.
In the victory, Colston Starzl singled, tripled, drove in a run and scored three times while Jackson McMenamin doubled, drove in two runs and scored twice. Kash Haase singled, drove in a run and scored twice; Spencer Moormeier singled and drove in a run; Camden Hall singled; Liam Rockhill accounted for a RBI as Cale Eischeid scored.
Haase (72 pitches) picked up the win in three innings allowing three runs (one earned) off one hit while striking out five batters and walking four. McMenamin (44) worked the final two innings allowing three runs (two earned) off two hits while striking out six batters and walking two.
