Wayne White Broncos Move Winning Streak To Four, Sweep Randolph On Road

RANDOLPH – Looking to improve their two-game winning streak, the Wayne White Broncos took to the road for a Wednesday doubleheader.

Wayne visited Randolph and secured a pair of wins. The White Broncos defeated Randolph 13-3 in the opening game and 5-3 in game two winning their fourth straight to improve to 4-2 on the season.

In the opening game, Wayne White poured in four runs in each of the opening three innings to go up 12-0. Randolph cut into the deficit with two runs in the fourth as both teams scored a run in the fifth. Final favored Wayne 13-3.

Alex Rodriguez recorded a single, triple, three RBI and three runs scored while Parker Patefield added a single, four RBI and run scored for the Wayne White Broncos. Drew Reinhardt singled twice, drove in a run and scored three times; Gavin Anderson singled twice, drove in a run and scored; Sam Etter singled, drove in a run and scored twice; Zander Liston singled and drove in a run; Austin Heiser singled; Carter Weise accounted for a RBI and Lance Stange singled. Will Leseberg, Brodrick Tiedtke and Mason Karsky all singled and scored.

Tiedtke secured the win in three innings allowing two hits while striking out six batters and walking one. Stange closed out the final three innings allowing three runs (two earned) off two hits while striking out seven batters and walking two.

From the second contest, Randolph held an early 2-1 lead in the second. Then after three scoreless innings, Wayne outscored Randolph 4-1 in the sixth to win 5-3.

Leseberg accounted for the lone single as he also scored. Patefield recorded two RBI and run scored as Liston added a RBI and run scored. Other runs came from Rodriguez and Anderson.

Liston opened the game pitching three and a third innings allowing two earned runs while striking out seven batters and walking one. Patefield worked the next two innings allowing an earned run off three hits while striking out five batters and walking two as Rodriguez came in for the final two outs striking both batters out in 10 total pitches.
