CHADRON – A mid-week in-state showdown will take over game number two on the Wayne State College women’s basketball schedule.
From the Chicoine Center in Chadron, WSC will visit Chadron State College on Wednesday, November 16.
Game time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT.
The Wildcat women won their season opener over Newman University (KS) last Friday, 99-90. Chadron State College is 0-2 following back-to-back home losses to Texas A&M-Kingsville (80-63) and Texas A&M International (73-46) this past weekend.
Wildcat senior Lauren Zacharias was recognized by the NSIC with a top South Division performance on November 11. She scored 22 points to lead Wayne State in a 99-90 season opening win vs. Newman (KS.) and made 8 of 14 shots from the field to go along with 4 for 8 from the 3-point line.
Last season, WSC picked up an 87-50 home victory over the Eagles in Wayne on November 18, 2021. The Wildcats own a 30-4 record in the all-time series history against Chadron State and have won 13 straight over the Eagles.
