Wayne State Women Set To Host Back-To-Back Non-Conference Opponents

WAYNE – As the Wayne State College men’s basketball team began a series of home games earlier this week, the Wildcat women’s program will follow in suit with back-to-back entering the weekend.

From Rice Auditorium on the campus of Wayne State College, the Wildcats will host Chadron State this evening at 7 p.m. and welcome in Black Hill State Friday night at 5:30 p.m.

WSC is 1-0 on the regular season after securing a 72-65 road victory at Newman last Saturday. Chadron State enters 0-2 while Black Hills State is currently 1-1.

The Wildcat men will also be hosting Simpson at 7:30 p.m. or following the WSC vs. Black Hills State women’s game Friday night from Rice Auditorium.

Both teams will open NSIC play next Tuesday, November 23 at 5:30 p.m. for the women’s contest and 7:30 p.m. for the men hosting Augustana University. Pregame coverage on Big Red Country ‘KTCH’ 104.9 and waynedailynews.com is set for 5 p.m. on the Wildcat Sports Network for the NSIC home opener.
