Wayne State Cross Country Season Opens Under The Lights Friday

SIOUX FALLS, SD – With fall sports season in full swing, the Wayne State College women’s and men’s cross country team will look to open their schedule this weekend.

In a season where two of six events will be held in Wayne, the Wildcats will run under the lights in the Augustana Twilight Invite on Friday, September 6 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The women will run at 8:30 p.m. followed by the men around 9 p.m.

Following the Dakota State Invite on September 14, WSC will host the Wildcat Classic on Friday, September 27 at 4 and 4:45 p.m. Then, following the last regular season competition at the Briar Cliff Invite on October 5, WSC will again be the host of the NSIC cross country championships on Saturday, October 26 at 11 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.

The NCAA Division II central regional will be held in Joplin, Missouri on Saturday, November 9.
