TAVARES, FL – Following a month-long break from the beach season, Wayne State College will return to play competing in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Small College Beach Championships.
From Tavares, Florida, the Wildcat beach volleyball program will open pool play on Thursday and Friday, April 14 and 15.
WSC is 11-3 and are on a current five-game winning streak as Wayne State has been off since March 16 going 4-0 during the Ottawa (KS) Beach Tournament.
Wildcat Pair’s: #1 Taya Beller and Lauren Jacobsen; #2 Kelsie Cada and Jordan McCormick; #3 Jessie Brandl and Isabell Vacek; #4 Ally Beresford and Brook Peltz as well as #5 Rachel Walker and Maggie Brahmer.
WSC will compete in Pool C of the Division II Championships. The Wildcats will open with Palm Beach Atlantic University (FL) at 9 a.m. on Thursday and close out the night at 5 p.m. against Colorado Mesa University. On Friday, WSC will face Catawba College (NC) at 2 p.m.
