ABERDEEN, SD – With incoming precipitation on Wednesday coming to northern South Dakota, the Wayne State College baseball road doubleheader has been moved up one day.
According to a release from Wayne State Athletics, WSC was scheduled to visit Northern State University on Wednesday. The games have been moved up one day to Tuesday, April 5 at 1:30/3:30 p.m.
The Wildcats currently sit eighth in the NSIC at 7-6 and are 13-13 overall while the Wolves are tied for sixth in league play at 4-3 and 9-11 overall.
Both teams met in a non-conference game on March 11 in Florida with the Wildcats prevailing 9-7.
This mark the first of 10-straight scheduled road conference games for Wayne State College as the Wildcats are 6-7 away from Wayne. This will be the home-opener for Northern State.
