SOUTH SIOUX CITY – A trio of games were played in South Sioux City for the North Division Ralph Bishop League Senior legion tournament.
#7 Wayne Post 43 (5-10) dropped an 8-2 loss against #2 South Sioux City on Sunday.
Calvin Starzl and Jacob Anderson both singled and scored; Cooper Zara singled twice as James Dorcey doubled. Toby Braun singled and drove in a run as Kaleb Moormeier and Justin Sherman both singled.
Dorcey (99) suffered the loss in six innings allowing eight runs (four earned) off 12 hits while striking out three batters and walking two.

Other North Division scores favored #3 Crofton over #6 Pierce, 12-7 and #4 Hartington defeated #5 Ponca, 5-4. #1 Battle Creek earned a first round bye into Tuesday, June 28 and will host Hartington at 8 p.m. with South Sioux City facing Crofton to open Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in Battle Creek.

South Division results:
Columbus: #1 Columbus Lakeview defeated #8 Wisner-Pilger/Dodge-Howells, 4-0 and #5 Oakland-Craig defeated #4 Arlington, 7-6. Lakeview will host Oakland-Craig at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
West Point: #2 West Point defeated #7 Hooper-Scribner, 8-0 and #3 Pender defeated #6 Tekamah-Herman, 6-4. West Point will face Pender at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Columbus.
