Wayne Pickleball Tournament Scheduled For March 21, Registration Due March 17

WAYNE – In just over a week from now the Wayne Community Activity Center will be hosting a Pickleball Tourney.

According to a release from the activity center, located at 901 West 7th Street, the Wayne Pickleball Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, March 21. Slots are filling up fast as spots are limited for games which will be played from 9 a.m. through noon.

The registration deadline in Tuesday, March 17.

The tourney is designed for open doubles (any combination) of two skills divisions. Each division is limited to eight teams. The skills divisions will be recreational (2.0 – 2.5) and intermediate (3.0 – 3.5).

An entry fee of $20 per team must be received prior to the first game. The Wayne Pickleball Tournament will be played on four indoor, wood courts with an onix orange indoor ball being used.
