Wayne High Football Heard On KTCH

BATTLE CREEK – After splitting back-to-back weeks of home outings, the Wayne High football team will head back out on the road where they’re 2-0 this season.

The Blue Devils are rated #6 in both the Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star with their 3-1 record. WHS recently suffered a 28-20 overtime loss last Friday.

Battle Creek will welcome in Wayne there the Braves have won two-straight and are 3-1 on the season. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. this evening.

Battle Creek won at Columbus Scotus last week 27-26 and defeated West Point-Beemer, 28-15 in Battle Creek. The last Braves lost was also in overtime, being a 24-21 road loss to Hartington Cedar Catholic.
