WAYNE/SCHUYLER – Both Wayne youth Pony Division baseball teams were in action Friday evening during rescheduled Tri County League games.
From the Summer Sports Complex, Wayne Blue hosted Logan View while Wayne White visited Schuyler.
The Wayne Blue Ponies (8-0) secured an 11-0 win over Logan View.
Jaxson Kneifl recorded a homerun, three total RBI and two runs scored; James Birkel doubled twice, drove in two runs and scored twice while Chase Sturm doubled, drove in a run and scored.
Adrian Contreras singled twice, drove in two runs and scored; Brodrick Tiedtke singled and drove in two runs; Jaxon Chase and Brodey Munter both scored twice as Chase Nelson scored.
Kneifl (62) picked up the win in four innings striking out eight batters and walking two. Sturm (14) worked an inning striking out two batters.

The Wayne White Ponies (6-2) won 16-1 at Schuyler.
Austin Heiser singled, doubled and scored twice while Parker Patefield doubled and drove in two runs.
Zander Liston singled twice, drove in two runs and scored; Sam Etter singled twice, drove in three runs and scored twice; Mason Heikes singled, drove in a run and scored twice; Mason Karsky and Blade Nelson both singled, drove in a run and scored twice; Carter Wiese and Taven Ocampo each added a RBI and two runs scored as Drew Reinhardt accounted for a RBI and run scored.
Gavin Anderson (25 pitches) picked up the win in two innings striking out six batters. Liston (46) worked three innings allowing an earned run off one hit while striking out five batters and walking two . Heikes (9) pitched an inning allowing one hit while striking out two batters.

The Wayne White Ponies will next host Howells-Dodge on Sunday, June 19 at 7 p.m. while the Wane Blue Ponies will host Tekamah-Herman on Sunday at 7 p.m.
All three tournament teams will be in action during the Wayne Youth Tournament beginning on Saturday, June 18.
