NORFOLK – As Area Tournament play approaches this weekend for the Wayne Post 43 Juniors, the Wayne Seniors will have a few more games on their schedule before postseason play and that begins Tuesday night.
From Veterans Memorial Field in Norfolk, Wayne will take part in a Jr/Sr double header at Norfolk. Junior action will get underway at 5 p.m. with the Senior contest to follow around 7:30 p.m.

The Wayne 43 Juniors are coming off a League Championship with a 13-5 win over Pender on Sunday to cap their third straight win and improve to 15-2 on the season. Wayne’s two losses came on Saturday, June 16 at the hand of Bennington.
The Wayne Post 43 Seniors are 12-4 on the season following an early exit during the 2018 Ralph Bishop League Tournament last Thursday. Wayne has only played two games in the last 18 days.
