Wakefield-Allen Wrestling Results

OSMOND – The Wakefield-Allen wrestling team took to the road Saturday for a weekend tourney.

The Trojans joined 12 other teams during the Osmond Tourney.

Wakefield-Allen finished fifth as team with 80 points.

Pierce was the top team with 310 points, West Point-Beemer came in second (221), Norfolk reserves finished third (176) and Creighton took fourth (113.5).

Other team scoring came from Ponca (sixth – 71), Pierce JV (seventh – 62), Madison (eighth – 61), Lutheran High Northeast (ninth – 60.5), Battle Creek (10th – 54), Niobrara-Verdigre (11th – 53), Osmond (12th – 48) and St. Mary’s (13th – 20).

Wakefield-Allen top results came from Wyatt Verzani (145) placing runner-up; Gabriel Lamprecht (138) took third; Jeremiah Chase (132) finished fourth and Rylan Weaver (195) placed fifth. Kolton Fischer (126), Gabe Reinert (145) and Mitchell Fischer (160) all finished seventh; Cole Verzani (152) took eighth and Dante Sjoelin (138) placed ninth.

The Wakefield-Allen wrestling team will next compete in the Wisner-Pilger Tourney on Saturday, January 11 at 10:15 a.m.
