MADISON – As a home invite approaches, the Wakefield-Allen volleyball team was in action Tuesday night during a road triangular.

Held in Madison, the Dragons hosted both Wakefield-Allen and Spalding Academy.

The Trojans put together a pair of victories to start a winning streak after defeating Spalding Academy (25-6, 25-16) and Madison (25-11, 25-15). Wakefield-Allen is now 3-4 on the season.

In the match with Spalding Academy, Hayden Ekberg paced the Trojans with nine kills while Alli Jackson (three aces) and Jordyn Carr (three digs) both added four kills. Aisha Valenzuela led the dig department with nine followed by Abby Heiman with six and Carly Dickens tallied a team-high 24 set assists.

From the contest against Madison, Rachel Borg and Ekberg both recorded four kills as Carr and Jackson followed with three kills each. Valenzuela tallied four digs; Alex Arenas had three digs and Dickens finished with 16 set assists.

The Trojans will next host the Wakefield-Allen Invite on Thursday and Saturday this week.
