WAKEFIELD – With a week off from competition taking place after Thursday night, the Wakefield-Allen volleyball team was back at home.
From the Wakefield Community School gymnasium, the Trojans entertained Creighton.
Wakefield-Allen posted the sweep in straight sets over Creighton (25-14, 25-16, 25-17) to improve to 11-11. The Bulldogs fell to 3-14.
Alli Jackson recorded a team-high seven kills and six digs followed by Hayden Ekberg and Jordyn Carry (10 digs) both who added six kills. Aishah Valenzuela finished with 11 digs as Chelly Dominguez tallied a team-high four service aces with Jackson adding three. Carly Dickens tacked on 28 set assists and six digs.
Wakefield-Allen will be off until a home match with Emerson-Hubbard on Thursday, October 17 as the contest will be played in Allen.
