WAKEFIELD/LAUREL – A pair of high school girls and boys basketball doubleheaders will be carried on Big Red Country ‘KTCH’ 104.9 and waynedailynews.com this week.
First, the Wayne High girls and boys will travel to Wakefield on Tuesday, December 6 while the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge girls and boys will then entertain Tri County Northeast (Allen/Emerson-Hubbard) on Friday, December 6.
Pregame show coverage of Wayne at Wakefield basketball is set for around 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday while the LCC vs. Tri County Northeast pregame show will start around 5:45 p.m. on Friday; both on Big Red Country ‘KTCH’ 104.9 and waynedailynews.com.
The Blue Devil girls have split their opening two games to sit 1-1 on the season while Wakefield is 0-1.
Last season, Wakefield picked up a 55-47 road win.
The Wayne High boys are off to a 2-0 start as the Trojans enter 1-0.
Last year, Wayne High won 66-58 in Wayne.
