Trojan Basketball To Visit Randolph Tuesday

RANDOLPH – The Wakefield-Allen girls will look to continue their winnings ways while the Wakefield boys are looking to get back on the winning track as the Randolph girls and boys will be in search of their first win of the season Tuesday night.

The Wakefield-Allen girls and Wakefield boys will visit Randolph starting with JV competition at 4:45 p.m. The Junior Varsity girls game will be two quarters as the varsity girls contest will get underway at 6:15 p.m. and boys to follow. Pregame coverage is set for 6 p.m.

In the girls contest, Wakefield-Allen has won two games to sit 2-1 while the Cardinals are 0-3. The Trojans topped Hartington-Newcastle 60-44 and defeated Omaha Nation 73-50 recently on December 13. The last outing for Randolph saw Laurel-Concord-Coleridge win in Randolph 57-15.

Last year, Randolph defeated Wakefield-Allen 46-37 in Wakefield.

From the boys game, Wakefield has dropped two straight after starting their season at 2-0 while Randolph is also 0-3. The Trojans have lost to Hartington-Newcastle 71-47 and Omaha Nation 81-64 while the Cardinals recently dropped a 60-50 home outing to LCC. All three of Randolph’s opponents have combined for a 13-0 record.

In 2018, Wakefield won at home against Randolph 44-18.
